A cylindrical marble base carries an offset gold shade on this table lamp, and the contrast between cool stone and warm metal is the whole idea. The shade sits to one side rather than centred, throwing light at an angle across a console, a sideboard, or a reading corner instead of straight down. Marble is a natural material, so the veining on the piece you receive will not match the photographs exactly.
