The Silicone Panda Rechargeable Night Lamp is a palm-sized panda in soft moulded silicone over an ABS core, glowing from the inside so the whole animal lights up in a warm, low, even wash. The modelling is neat rather than cartoonish, and at 5.1 x 4.4 x 2.4 inches (13 x 11.3 x 6 cm) it sits comfortably on a nightstand, a bookshelf, a desk corner, or a windowsill.

A touch on the body switches the integrated LED on and off, and there is no dimmer. Light output is deliberately gentle, enough to read a room by at night but not enough to work under, which makes the piece useful as a bedside companion, a landing light, or a quiet accent on a living room shelf. The finish is white and black, matching the animal it is modelled on.

Power comes from a built-in 2000 mAh battery charged over the supplied USB cable at 5V or 8V, taking about three hours to fill. Expect roughly three hours of use at maximum output and up to about ten at the lowest setting, so it will comfortably cover a night. In a child's room adult supervision is required: place it securely out of reach of young children and store the charging cable safely. Dry indoor locations only.
