The Silicone Squeeze Kids Night Light is a soft, huggable little character built to be handled: the push-button switch sits inside the body, so a gentle squeeze is all it takes to turn the light on, with no small switch to hunt for in the dark. Silicone over a PC and ABS core keeps it soft-edged, and at 3.8 inches (9.6 cm) across and 5 inches (12.6 cm) tall it is sized to be carried around a bedroom.

The glow is warm and low, intended as a sleep companion for children who would rather not be alone in the dark, and steady enough to leave on through the night. The light is on or off only and is not dimmable. Its slender legs double as a phone stand, which gives the piece a second life on a desk or a bedside table once a child has outgrown the night-light stage. The finish is white with yellow.

A built-in 2000 mAh battery charges over the supplied USB cable at 5V or 8V in about three hours, and runs roughly three hours at full output or up to ten hours at the lowest. Adult supervision is required: this is a lit electrical product rather than a toy, so keep it away from very young children, check that it sits securely wherever it is placed, and store the cable out of reach. Dry indoor locations only.
