Calvrane Glass Orb Cascade Chandelier - Modern Dining Pendant Light

The Glass Orb Cascade Chandelier hangs glass spheres on slim rods, each globe half clear and half opaque so the two halves balance one another as the fixture is walked around. Each shade rotates up to 35 degrees, which lets the lit half be angled toward a table, a wall or the ceiling instead of always pointing straight down at the floor beneath it.

Steel, iron, glass and acrylic make up the structure, finished in gold, rose gold or black, with integrated LEDs inside the orbs so nothing has to be bought separately. Warm, neutral and cool color temperatures are selectable, warm being the usual choice over a dining table. The half-opaque treatment matters here: it keeps a lit orb from becoming a glare source at eye level while still reading as clear glass.

Configurations run from a single 59 in pendant to clusters of three, five, eight or twelve heads dropping up to 78.7 in, so one design covers a stairwell void, a dining table, a kitchen island or a double-height entry. Measure the drop against your ceiling height first; the single-pendant version ships with a 59 in cable that can be lengthened. It mounts to the ceiling, is switched from a common wall switch, not included, and is for indoor use.
