      The Wood Canopy Steel Track Ceiling Light pairs an industrial steel track with a natural wood canopy, which warms up a fixture type that usually reads as purely functional. Each head rotates and angles independently, so the piece can wash a gallery wall, pick out a worktop or fill a room with reflected light. Configurations run from a single head to three, four or five heads on a 39.4 in (100 cm) or 59 in (150 cm) bar.

      Construction is metal with a rubberwood or ashwood canopy, and head heights of 9.1 in (23 cm), 10.2 in (26 cm) or 9.8 in (25 cm) are selected at checkout. The heads take GU10 twist-and-lock spotlight bulbs rather than the more common E26 or E27 screw base, and one bulb is needed per head. Bulbs are not included; a warm 2700-3000K GU10 LED keeps the beams sympathetic to the wood.

      It suits kitchens, open-plan living rooms, studios and corridors, and is a practical answer to a ceiling with a single outlet that has to light several zones. The fixture is hardwired, controlled by a standard wall switch that is not included, and can be mounted on the ceiling or converted to a wall mount. It runs on AC 110-240V and is rated IP20 for dry indoor locations only.
